Washi Tape Lantern

washijar

Combine washi tape and a glass jar and you’ve got yourself a beautiful lantern! I was gonna publish this a couple of days ago, but I’ve been a bit busy running my first 50 miles ultramarathon up in the mountains of Telemark. I gotta tell you, is was tough! Stubborn as I am, I made it, reaching the finishing line after 14 hours. After a physical challenge like this it is good to come back home and be able to relax with posting DIYs. Find a washi tape with a nice pattern and be sure not to repeat the pattern when you tape it onto the glass jar. When done, light a tea light and set the mood ๐Ÿ™‚

Really, really dumb question, where do you get you Washi Tape, besides ordering on line, and is it the same as the cute narrow ducky tape?

I buy washi tape at Sรธstrene Grene. They have got many stores, unfortunally only in northern Europe.
