Matchboxes are perfect for an advent calendar: They can hold small treats and they are easy to wrap! With numbers stamped on the outside, the small presents are if I may say so, pretty stylish.
Okay, guys, to make this advent calendar you need plain white paper, a pair of scissors, tape, 24 matchboxes and number stamps. Start with cutting 11 x 12 cm (4.3 x 4.7 in) squares of paper. Then stamp them with the numbers 1-24. Put sweets in the matchboxes, I’ve put a Santa Claus mellow (Julenisseskum) inside on the photo below. When all matchboxes are done, wrap them using tape. That is it!
I’ve made the stamps myself using pieces of wood and a sheet of foam. I’ll share a tutorial on this later. Now, have you decided what kind of advent calendar you will make this year?
