Kinder Egg Shaker

I have a habit (a bad habit some might say) to hit the beat whenever I listen to music. I pretend that I´m playing drums by hitting my thighs, knees and chest and stomping on the imaginary bass drum. Annoying? Well, not for me. As an addition to my one-man-body-drum-orchestra I´ve made an egg shaker out of a kinder egg, rice and tape. Yeah, uh huh, you know what it is, black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow!

1. You´ll need a Kinder Egg (also called Kinder Surprise), some elastic tape, rice and a permanent pen. 2. Fill the egg 1/3 full with rice. 3. Tape around the middle to seal the egg, and write something on it. 4. Shake it!

Bailamos – let the rhythm take you over!

Very cute post….a fab idea for new Mom’s to make for their baby. I smiled constantly through this entire tutorial. Not often you see someone enjoying their bloggin so much. : )
My older brother is a drummer and also uses himself as a drum kit…only he will sometimes use other people’s knees as extra drums, etc!! Guess who’s getting a kinder egg next time I see him! : )
