Halloween Leaf Monsters

Decorate your lamp with leaf monsters on Halloween! I must confess, that being a Norwegian, I still haven’t got used to the decorating and the trick & treats. Ten years ago Norwegians barely knew what Halloween was about. Nowadays the stores are flooded with costumes and decorations. We’re getting there, although I don’t think it’ll be anything like Halloween in the United States. My sister is currently residing in DC and I’m looking forward to hear about the holidays later! Okay, lets talk about my first Halloween decoration ever: Monsters made from leaves. Supplies: A scalpel, a cutting pad, leaves of your choice and a book. I’ve used maple leaves – they are big and more important, the pointy edges make scary faces.

Be careful when you cut into the leaf, it’ll tear easily. When done cutting out your monster face, put the leaves inside a book until the next day. Then your monsters will be ready scare your guests. Muahaha!

I really adore this simple idea. Do they just stuck on the shade by themselves? Maybe taped 🙂

    • Erlend Erlend

Yup Nicki, a piece of transparent tape will do the trick 😉 Thanks!
