DIY Wire Photo Holder

Yes! You can make your own small photo holder from wire. Supplies: Wire, a round nosed plier and a wire cutter. 1. Start with a loop around the round nose plier. 2. Continue to make circles until you have about an inch in diameter. 3. Thread the wire end through the hole in the middle. 4. Pull the wire through while you push from behind, so that the circle gets into a cone. 5. At the opposite end you make a loop, be sure to have at least an inch left of wire. 6. Bend another loop right next to the first one. You should now have something similar to a heart. 7. The end of the wire is bent underneath and up behind the heart. 8. This end will keep the photo in place but will not be seen from the front. If the end is too long, shorten it with the wire cutter.

It can be a little bit tricky getting it to stand balanced. Make sure the foot is broad enough and that the neck is not too high. The wire photo holder above was my third attempt, so don´t sweat if you don´t get it right the first time.

Happy Crafting!
