Did you make these bracelets as a child? I did, though low saturated Hama beads did not exist back then (the end of the 80’s) – I’m so loving these pastel colored beads! I found Perler bead bracelets over at Craft & Creativity – a beautiful blog, full of DIY ideas – check it out! I’ve made my bracelets with elastic string, Hama beads and a needle. I tried to take photos of the process, but was not pleased with the result, therefore the drawing made in 23 below.
Start with four beads in a row. Then add two more beads: number one and three in the second row. The elastic string goes through a “new” bead, then an “old”, “new” and “old”, new row and the same over again. This goes on and on until you have a bracelet. And if you wonder how to bind it all together, think that last two beads you are adding, they are actually from the first row you made.
