DIY Easter Tree

DIY Easter Tree

If you’re just gonna make one thing for Easter, what will it be? I asked myself that question and have been thinking a lot the last weeks. When browsing stores a couple of days ago I suddenly passed a branch covered with twine in one of my favorite stores, Upstairs. What a great idea for an easter decoration!

For my version of the DIY Easter tree I’ve used a birch branch, thick yarn and a glue gun. First I glued on the end of the yarn onto the branch. Then I twirled the yarn around and around until I got the branch covered.

To display it properly, I added three porcelain eggs and put it in a glass vase. Happy Easter!

  2. This brings back so many memories of my childhood! We used to collect branches with buds to build an Easter tree in hopes that they would bloom on Easter morning. This is definitely a great way to liven up the branches, though!

Thank you Jenni! Yeah, the memories from holidays are strong. I remember the excitement when we were waiting to open the Easter egg full of candy when I was a kid. Well, actually I’m still excited about it 😉

  3. That is also a very nice idea … well, next year! 😉
