DIY Driftwood Photo Display

By the South Coast of Norway, where I live, there is a lot of driftwood to be found along the shore. One thing you can make of driftwood is decorations. I´ve used three wooden sticks, drilled two holes in each of them and used twine with knots to hold it all together. I also found some tiny clothespins for the photos.

Gorgeous! Just found this through Pinterest. Am just wondering what the top looks like? Is it just the twine knotted? Ta!

Hi Erin – no knot at the top, Since I’ve used one string only, half of it goes on the right side, half on the left side and I get a loop above the top stick :-)

Hi! I love this and I have collected the driftwood to make this. I have a question, though, do you laminate your pictures so they don’t start to curl up? Thanks! Sue

I did not laminate the pictures, whether you’ll get curled photos depends on the humidity I guess. I would recommend printing the photos out on photo paper instead of plain paper :-)
