DIY Driftwood Photo Display

By the South Coast of Norway, where I live, there is a lot of driftwood to be found along the shore. One thing you can make of driftwood is decorations. I´ve used three wooden sticks, drilled two holes in each of them and used twine with knots to hold it all together. I also found some tiny clothespins for the photos.

    1. Hi Erin – no knot at the top, Since I’ve used one string only, half of it goes on the right side, half on the left side and I get a loop above the top stick :-)

  1. Hi! I love this and I have collected the driftwood to make this. I have a question, though, do you laminate your pictures so they don’t start to curl up? Thanks! Sue

    1. I did not laminate the pictures, whether you’ll get curled photos depends on the humidity I guess. I would recommend printing the photos out on photo paper instead of plain paper :-)
