December is close and it is time to start on the Christmas gifts! This I’ve been waiting for! The first gift I’ll present is earrings attached to a piece of recycled kraft cardboard.
First I’ve made button earrings out of buttons, earring posts and e6000 adhesive. I’ve posted a DIY on that which you can find here. Now in addition to the button earrings you need recycled kraft cardboard, a computer with a text editing program and a printer, a paper cutter (or a pair of scissors) and a star perforator.
1. Open a text editing program of your choice. I’ve used OpenOffice.org. Now make some text in a text box ( or several text boxes). 2. Print it out on the Kraft paper and use a paper cutter and cut up pieces with the text on. 3. Make a hole with the star perforator and attach the earring through the paper locking them with the earring backs. The star hole lets you hang the earrings, just like in the store!
